Minecraft problems

Hello Fws users,
I made this topic because I need some help with the Minecraft game.
After I changed my HP laptop (which it had win7 32bit) with an another one (another HP, but with win8 64bit) and I installed Minecraft 1.5.2 (the crack version with Forge, TMI and Optifine) on it, my fps went down from 60 to 20 and made my mc to close itself after 2 minutes played on it and it spams with the same error on my desktop.
I don't know how to solve it. My video card is updated, I reinstalled more time Java, but the error is still there.
If you know how to solve it, tell me on this topic.
P.S. : On the old laptop (with win7 32bit), I had the same MC as the one which is installed on my new laptop (version 1.5.2 with Forge, TMI and Optifine) and this error didn't appear there.

I don't know how to solve it. My video card is updated, I reinstalled more time Java, but the error is still there.

Hm. Win7 32bit to Win8 64bit... That's the big difference. You should try using the compatibility option on windows.

Well, you can run some haxs and some mods like optifine and minimap for minecraft in a launcher named "Magic Launcher" (i'm using the version 1.2.5 of launcher). It helped to some of my friends because they cannot even open the minecraft. Try to use the version 1.7.+ by the way. I guess the problem is in the minecraft, not in the computer because I got windows xp and it sucks.

I also have Minecraft and I didn't got this error once (I'm using Vista wheee) so I assume it's your OS. Try to use the compatibility mode, like Dappleblood said.
Has the new laptop the same RAM, CPU, GPU (I guess you get my point) like the old one or is it different?

Guys, it isn't his OS. I could say that minecraft would run better on windows 8. From what I've seen, the problem seems to be that his video card is out of memory.
Dimi, you should check your drivers and directx again. Actually the GPU (Graphics Card), the Chipset and the HDD (RAID and that SATA thingy, search) drivers, are the critical ones for the performance.
Oh, I remembered a thing !
Is it an Nvidia graphics card ? Cause if so, you need to setup Nvidia Optimus. It is a program made for laptops with modern nvidia GPU's (Graphics Cards). What it does is, use your GPU only when it's needed, when performing heavy tasks, to not consume much battery since GPU's tend to consume LOTS of battery. So, while you're not doing anything much advanced , example, when you are writting on microsoft word or when you are listening to music, it uses the CPU graphics instead. As minecraft is made with java and usually, java apps doesn't take so much, it recognizes it as a simple task and doesn't uses your graphics card, it uses the IGP one (The one which is included on your CPU (processor)). Just search Nvidia Optimus Minecraft on google, there would some tutorials about how to setup it. I could tell you how but the steps differ from the computers and the applications so, it is better for you to search.
Well, if it isn't that, lets just assume that you purchased a worst computer. Just because the windows version and the CPU architecture are more modern, it doesn't means that the computer is better.
I had a 64 bit HP computer with 4GB Ram + 1.6Ghz Dual Core CPU (Don't remember the GPU but it wasn't anything especial) and Windows 7 and a 32 bit Acer computer with 3GB Ram + 2.3 Dual Core CPU + a pretty much decent Nvidia GPU with 256 RAM and Windows Vista and it easily exceed the HP one (easily, believe me).

That's strang. But, it being old wans't the problem, I'm 99% sure of that. It may only be related to it.
Anyway, I recommend you to use Mineshafter as it comes with all versions and allows you to have your own skins. (Only other mineshafter users are able to see your skin)

As Dimi said, he could LAUNCH the game, he just couldn't play it with decent FPS while he should. Maybe the problem was the graphics detail stuff or the nvidia optimus thingy which I mentioned earlier, Java may have fixed this in an update. It could also be an Windows 8 bug that has been fixed.
