Help Needed

If you want to get people's attention to help you out, it'd be better if you could elaborate on this project? (of yours?)

You could make a more invested post in order to motivate the developers to join. Anyways, I have the pleasure to present you guys Play2D! Play2D is the CS2D clone entirely written in the Lua scripting language along with BlitzMax framework / engine. It's main goal is to allow the developers (and not only) to experience a fully moddable version of CS2D.

Currently its development team is, Starkkz (also the founder and the director of the project), EnderCrypt, me (_Yank) and DarkSoul as graphics guy. We're seeking for experienced scripters as well as graphic or web designers. So, if you meet these requirements and are interested in joining the project, be sure to contact me.

What we've done so far:
We got Lua running at the same speed of BlitzMax (through LuaJIT) (should be at least 50% times faster than CS2D). We added several libraries such as Lua Lanes (Multithreading) and our own graphics, socket and GUI library. We've also made an HTML parser for things such as serverinfo and help panels. And still much more.

Anyway, that's it I guess, regards.

Skype's been a pain in the ass for me, so nope. Don't you have another method? Kik, Hangouts, etc?

@Nigwark: Will talk with Starkkz about this and see what we can do.

@Plyr: We already discussed about that. Reached the conclusion that we're only going to start using such a thing when the game's done. Currently we're using dropbox (cries)

Well, if its going to be open-source someday, you better move to github ASAP.

Dropbox isn't bad, it's just that if you accidentally move a whole directory full of other directories, the whole thing sets to download again. The indexing is a pain in the ass, but will manage. ;-;
