Re: Eid Mubarak
Aaaa.... I forgot that muslims have a celebration this day. Yh, I'm a super duper orthodox, but Eid Mubarak to all believers in Allah!
@gamu5: Are you muslim? (I have no doubts that a big part of people from countries, which were united more years ago in a single state called Iugoslavia, are muslims, but I didn't know that you're a part of them).
@WzB: Be more respectful please...

Re: Eid Mubarak
If you dont pray, you are not muslim, but of course anyone can call themself muslim - muslim guy who i asked
Re: Eid Mubarak
Whether you pray or not, if your belief isn't there then it won't actually be sufficable.
ISIS and the Talibans pray too, doesn't mean they're Muslims. o.o
Anyhows, it seems some of your concepts are still awkward. I don't want to turn this topic into a debate because it is for the sake of the celebration. So if you'd like, I could help you out through PM.
EsSe/Wzb, that was disrespectful, if it's anyone who should get out of this topic, it's you. o.O
You should apologize.
And Khair Mubarak, people. (:

Re: Eid Mubarak
@Dimi: We have a month in our own calendar called Ramadan. During that month, each muslim is obliged to fast, unless he is sick, a traveller or too old/young. After Ramadan is over, we have a holiday named Eid al-Fitr (We say Bajram here) which marks the end of Ramadan. It's basically a feast of breaking fast.
Then we have Eid al-Adha, a feast of the sacrifice. You know that story about Abraham wanting to sacrifice his son because God told him to? To mark Abraham's devotion and love for God, we kill cattle/goats/sheep (usually one) and give the meat to the poor and to our family. It's just two heart warming holidays.
