Can't download Jail Server Files

Hello
I had a problem with downloading Jail server files i think the problem is the host , i'm wondering if anyone can fix this

I have seen other people having same problem.

Which map it was when you were downloading files?

all maps don't work

It's probably because your internet connection can't calculate all the 500~ files in time and everything messes up...
Just keep reconnecting every few minutes maybe it will download...

it's not my net i have already downloaded files from others erver and it worked

I have currently the same problem on all fws servers (not only in jail), since yesterday. I allready tryed it over ten times to download the files. It shows no error message or something like that, just "Waiting for transmission"

I need just one single file in fws shotgun, but I cannot download it. So, i don't think that's the problem.

ps: I allready tryed it to join the server with a vpn... it has nothing changed.

I had the same problem from last some hrs i m not able to download the files,some people in different servers told me the same problem .i request admins to look over for it ,cause its making the server totally empty.

That problem happened to me and I started worrying about it cause I don't want to be INACTIVE.

I noticed on -[IFwsI]- Doghouse that while waiting for any other players, several players joined the server, around three guys, and it gotten written that Player XXX connected. Nothing else happened, and some of them also connected a second time. This might be this problem, well, I only noticed this..

I fixed this issue when I had it by using a vpn,if you want some recommendations try Hideme,cyberghost or hotspot shield.

This problem occurs from time to time and goes away as well. We don't exactly know what causes it to offer a fix but vaguely we do know it's related to internet speed. Nevertheless we'll keep looking for the cause and a fix.

Meanwhile, try changing your Download setting to "All" in the Net Options, its at the bottom and here's Jail's files.

if you mean our internet speed then nah i have 3mb internet and can't download it

my net is 2 mbps nd i m getting the problem too .tried with vpn nothing happened.try restarting the vps nd try re adding the files or try editing the server config.

The thing that always worked for me:
Join the server and see the transferring issue
Cancel and join a different server that doesn't have this issue
Leave that server after you fully connected
Come back to the server with the issue and wait for at least 10 minutes before giving up again

This worked for me all the time and if it wont for you try it every few days or hours depending how much free time you have.

Checked, downloading the files from Francis's mine craft server and hc fun ' s files are downloading normally, but I can't download the fws server files. I suppose both mc nd hc server are hosted on same vps

I don't know if this is true but I think you need to remake the jail server.

And how do you recommend to do that?
Just think of what you just said even I can't understand what you're saying.
Remake the config? Script? Map? WHAT

I doubt he wanted to say remake, perhaps he meant to restart the server. But whether that's the solution, I don't think so.
This problem doesn't exactly happen when I try to join -[IFwsI|- Jail, but at some maps on DR# Free Choice I am not able to join the server because the download don't make progress, doesn't matter how much time. And this doesn't be caused by my internet connection.

I forgot to mention that this might be a CS2D problem (actually its like 80% is since CS2D is very awkward at doing these kind of tasks)
Just change the amount of data being sent to a new user from 25Kb to something like 50Kb BUT DON'T CHANGE IT TOO HIGH OR WHEN A PLAYER WILL DOWNLOAD EVERYONE WILL LAG LIKE IT'S NOBODY'S BUSINESS

I recommend 50-100Kb/s (default is 25)

I've restarted the server, let me know if the problems still occurs.

I'll investigate the logs from the previous week tonight to see if I can find anything.

i think cause i can see server have players back again nd i m getting np in downloading the files. Ty nighty

I see the increase in traffic as well. Guess this somehow "fixes" the "issue". o.O
