Hello, siN here and I decided to make a thread explain how you can get the old (1.0.0.1) cs2d skins, most of the players lag (like myself for example) so here's three simple steps that increase your fps (in some cases) 20%-50%. You might also disable "Force Lighting"

Another advise: Download a cs2d 1.0.0.1 version and auto-update it, for me the skins were updated but the gfx were not, meaning I wasn't lagging because of the flashlight for example.

To access to this file you must download the counter-strike 2D zip file or just press here to download it immediatly without bothering to search.

To download counter-strike 1.0.0.1 for the auto update I've suggested press here

I appreciate your efforts and that but I think you should enrich more the tutorial (for example, put how you can access the directory shown in the first step image, even though most players know that.)

I'm not sure but this should indeed give a 5~10 fps boost since the game starts working with no-so-compressed (or not compressed at all) images.

I Have a 2gb ram pc,126mb built in intel card...
Yet the game runs to me at 50 fps with everything set to high except shadows cuz they annoy me anyway.
Can your pc get Potatoer than that?

And is there any way to change just a certain thing (like the grenades for example, those new ones are hard to recognize and I always end up throwing HE instead of flash)?

Wardog, if you want to do, you aren't able to use that Mods. Easily get the old skins from the grenades of anywhere and replace them with the current ones in /gfx/weapons.

I told you,with all particles high and then shadows set to Off.
Shadows can cause a lot of fps lag and reduction,also maybe you have a lot of mods?

I have particles at max and shadows off, and lighting on the lowest, and I've got no mods. And has anyone got a link from which I can get the old weapon skins?
